Tunisia-Presidency of the Republic: Update on travel ban

According to the press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic, the president of the republic Kais Saied gave new instructions to the acting interim of minister Ridha Gharsellaoui regarding the travel ban.
“No person should be subjected to a travel ban unless a warrant of arrest or a search notice has been issued against them,” the statement read.
In the same context, the head of the state called for respecting the law, protecting the dignity of people and taking into record their commitments abroad. Mr Saied further denied reports of bad practices that have been exercised against those banned from travelling.
