Tunisia-President-elect kais saied to take oath tomorrow and deliver speech

The Parliament will preside over a plenary session, on Wednesday, October 23 whereby newly President-elect of the Republic Kais Saied will fulfil the presidential oath. 

« 61-year old Kais Saied will be sworn in before the Parliament before addressing the Tunisian people in a speech,” reads an official statement of the Parliament.

The plenary session will be tended by elected deputies, former Heads of State and Presidents of the Republic, prominent diplomats accredited in Tunisia as well as official representatives in commissions and national organizations.

The plenary session is programmed at 10 a.m.
