Tunisia-President Kaïs Saïed congratulates Tunisian engineer Mohamed Abid on the success of the March 2020 mission

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed had a phone conversation on Thursday, February 25, 2021, with chief engineer physicist at NASA Mohamed Abid who was part of the team that worked on the Mars-2020 mission.
The Head of State addressed his sincere congratulations to Mr Abid, wishing him more prosperity and success on his research and contributions in the design of the rover “Perseverance”, which recently landed successfully on the surface of Mars.
He assured him that he monitors closely with pride the work of distinguished Tunisian researchers in various research centres throughout the world.
President Saïed finally asked Mr Abid, to rough out space for the Tunisian flag to be drawn in the next rocket.
