Tunisia-President Kais Saied expressed gratitude to Emir of Qatar for field hospital

President of the Republic Kais Saïed held a phone conversation with Emir of the State of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani to express his gratitude for the quick dispatch of the field hospital for the citizens of El Golea in Douz.

The Emir of Qatar stated he estimated this action as a commitment towards a brotherly country.

For his part, the head of the state stressed that the relationships of partnership and solidarity between the two brotherly countries will proceed and will be further reinforced thanks to the sincere will of both parties, communicating his desire to see all mankind overcome this coronavirus pandemic.

A plane, coming from Qatar and carrying the components of a field hospital with a capacity of 100 beds as well as medical equipment and ventilators landed Saturday at the Tozeur-Nefta airport.
