Tunisia-President Kaïs Saïed expresses gratitude for the medical aid granted by China

President Kaïs Saïed received, on Wednesday, at the Carthage Palace, Chinese ambassador in Tunis, Wang Wenbin, coming to take leave at the end of his mission to Tunisia.

The two parties reviewed the areas of bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of further strengthening it in several areas, particularly in the field of infrastructure, a statement issued on Wednesday by the Presidency of the Republic, reads

The talks provided an opportunity to discuss the special historical relations binding Tunisia and China.

The Head of State expressed Tunisia’s gratitude for the medical aid granted by China to support national efforts in the fight against COVID-19, the same source added.
