Tunisia- President Kais Saied is the only one that understood the gap between People and the political class

Tahya Tounes MP Mehdi Ben Gharbia said during a plenary to grant the vote of confidence that the political scenery in the country is impaired, adding the need to draw lessons learned from the last elections, most importantly, the gap between People and the political class.

The distance has widened between the problems of the Tunisian people and the struggles of the political class, he pointed out.

Gharbia pressed the call to get familiarised with the current political scene, he affirmed that President Kais Saied understood the gap between People and the political class.

Voting result for the head of the state was the way for Tunisians to manifest their anger, their loss of hope in the current political class, and their eagerness to find a personality capable of change,he expressed.
