Tunisia-President Kais Saied meets FM Noureddine Erray, address Tunisia participation in Arab league Council

President Kais Saied received Foreign Minister Noureddine Erray at Carthage presidential palace.
FM Erray briefed the head of the state on the outcome of Tunisia participation in the Arab foreign ministers’ meeting held in Cairo, Egypt

Stress was likewise laid on the Tunisian delegation’s enrichment to the meeting’s talks, particularly the promotion of joint Arab action, reads a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.
Erray declared his participation in the meeting enabled him to hold discussions with Arab foreign ministers and examine approaches to promote bilateral relations.
The consultations made it permissible to share views on regional and international issues. Importance was also placed on the necessity to activate the role of the Arab league in solving problems facing the Arab region.
Taking the floor at the opening of the 153rd session of the Arab League Council, Erray accented the need to strengthen efforts and strengthen solidarity between Arab countries, to surmount significant challenges the Arab region is facing.
