Tunisia-President Kais Saied presides over ceremony to commemorate Martyrs’ Day

President Kais Saied presided the official ceremony of the commemoration of Martyrs’ Day at Martyrs’ Square in Séjoumi.

The head of state laid a wreath at the foot of the memorial, erected in tribute to the martyrs of the Nation, and recited the “Fatiha” to their memory.

The President of the Republic afterwards saluted the flag on the line of the national anthem followed by three artillery rounds to salute it.

The ceremony was attended by house speaker Rached Ghannouhci and prime minster  Rached Ghannouchi.
