Tunisia-President Kais Saied receives 2019 activity report of Ombudsman institution

President of the Republic Kais Saied welcomed, Friday, Ombudsman Abdessattar Ben Moussa at  Carthage presidential palace, the latter handed over to the head of the state the 2019 activity report of this institution.

The meeting was a chance to highlight the part of the ombudsman institution in settling conflicts between residents and the administration. It likewise concentrated on ways to grow this institution through the development of its activities and the reformation of regulatory texts that rule it in order to lay down the foundations of good governance.

The Head of State stressed the necessity to expand the representation of the ombudsman institution to all regions in order to bring services closer to citizens and reduce pressure on the central administration.
