Tunisia-President Kais Saied receives invitation to visit UAE

President Kais Saied welcomed  Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Carthage presidential palace. The head of the state received an official invitation to visit the UAE.

The meeting addressed the two countries strong historical ties and ways to magnify it especially in the areas of investment and technical cooperation.
The two counterparts evaluated several topics of common interest especially the Libyan file. Moreover, the meeting underscored the necessity of coordination and collaboration between Tunisia and UAE to find a peaceful solution that establishes peace and put an end to the bloodshed in Libya. The implementation of berlin conference outcomes was also examined during the gathering including respecting the ceasefire under a Libyan political framework
