Tunisia-President Kais Saied talks with Italian counterpart,visit to italy postponed

President of the republic Kais Saied held a phone conversation with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella.

Both sides addressed the excellent relationship between the two countries and the need to adopt a new approach to it.

The head of the state visit to Italy that was scheduled at the end of the month was also on the table, it was agreed to postpone it till the beginning of next year due to the two countries health situations.

President Saied also extended an invitation to Mr Mattarella to visit Tunisia after the head of the state visit to Italy.
