Tunisia-President Kais Saied talks with king King of Belgium Louis Phillippe

President Kais Saied held a phone conversation  King of Belgium Louis Phillippe on the deep-standing relationships binding the two countries and mutual willingness to strengthen them in all fields.

The discussion addressed the COVID-19, means to stem its spread and the common approaches to be devised by all countries.

The head of the state evoked the initiative under consultation by the United Nations Security Council to approve a joint global policy to combat the coronavirus and the necessity to join efforts so that all countries in the world do not have to face this crisis alone.

For his part, the king of Belgium affirmed willingness to support this initiative and repeated the invitation to president Saied to visit Belgium. The date of this visit, postponed once, will be set later, after the end of the pandemic, according to the press release.
