Tunisia-President Kais Saied: The state has no justification for neglecting the field of education

Speaking at Carthage presidential palace on Knowledge day, president of the republic Kais Saied affirmed that it is not a coincidence that the success rates have improved in some areas and diminished in others.

He added that long ways between housing and educational institutions, poverty and misery were among the causes of these result.

“Whoever calls for equality in other areas must remember equality in its essence and purposes and in the field of education, it is a right for everyone on an equal footing, such as water and air, and it is the duty of the national group to provide it without discrimination”, he pointed out.

The state has no justification for neglecting this field of education, he added.
