The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, will visit Brussels on June 3 and 4, 2021 to partake in the work of the Tunisia-European Union summit.
During this visit, the Head of State will meet the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Parliament, David Maria Sassoli.
Mr Saïed will further meet with King Philippe of Belgium, and he will additionally meet with the President of the European Investment Bank, Werner Hoyer, to address the Bank’s activities in Tunisia and the funding of projects in essential sectors such as infrastructure, education and health.
