President Mohamed Ennaceur received ISIE president Nabil Baffoun at Carthage presidential palace.

The official meeting centred on preparation to ensure the steady conduct of the legislative elections. The President emphasised the necessity to enhance efforts to guarantee the intensive participation of Tunisians. They further discussed the early presidential election in the light of announcing the result of the first round.

The president further asserted the need to find solutions to secure equal opportunities between candidates.

He also invited Secretay generals of the UTICA, UGTT and UTAP to hold a meeting to discuss the latest developments in the electoral process and provide pathways for a conducive environment to protect the country from dangers and secure the electoral process integrity.
