Tunisia-President of Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies reveals reasons for Tunisian tourists heading towards other countries [Video]

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies, Ahmed Beltaib stated that tourist services in Tunisia are prominent and offers that are presented to Tunisian or foreign tourists cannot be compared to other tourist destinations.

Concerning the choice of several Tunisians for other tourist destinations, he noted that the primary reason is the desire of Tunisian tourists to discover other places and countries, and is not only linked to the high prices of accommodation in Tunisian hostels.

The President of the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies attributed the increase in the prices of tourist services to the current inflation and the fall in the purchasing power of Tunisian citizens in general, stressing that the rise in prices in the tourism sector should not be sudden, even though Tunisian hotels operate seasonally.

Our speaker considered it essential today to review this policy, try to find solutions, avoid seasonality, and deliver offers that are consistent with the purchasing power of the Tunisian citizen.
