Tunisia-President Said congratulates Menfi after Libyan government wins parliament confidence vote

President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed, on Wednesday, felicitated President of the Libyan Presidency Council Mohammad Younes Menfi after the government obtained the confidence of the Parliament.
At a phone call, President Said reaffirmed to Menfi “solidarity, mutual aid and unity of the destiny shared by Tunisia and Libya.”
He likewise reiterated his “complete confidence in the ability of the Libyan to strengthen the foundations of peace and stability” and “dedicate the transition phase to the installation of sustainable institutions,” said a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
The Head of State similarly emphasised that “the security and stability of Libya are also those of Tunisia” and they “will unfold new horizons of complementary and supportive cooperation and partnership” between the two nations.
The President of the Libyan Presidency Council thanked President Saied and said he was looking forward to meeting him as soon as possible.
