The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed called Tunisians to get vaccinated against COVID-19 -19, in particular during the open vaccination day on August 8.

“We have got six million doses of the vaccine and will soon receive two million more further doses. We have been talking about the pandemic for months and it kept growing in the country. Today, thanks to the efforts made and with the aid of friendly nations, vaccines and oxygen are there.” he declared.

“On August 8, there will be an open vaccination day, so don’t hesitate and get vaccinated or get your second dose…May life resumes its natural course in Tunisia and may this painful memory where we saw viruses and microbes proliferate serve as a lesson to those who have lost their memories and those who have deceived themselves, these memories that we don’t desire to relive at any cost.” Added the president.
