Tunisia-President Saied meets BCT Governor and Haykel Mekki

President of the Republic Kais Saied welcomed the Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia Marouane Abassi at Carthage presidential palace.
The meeting concentrated on the economic and financial situation in the country and the necessity to introduce a new development approach.
The head of the stat further had a meeting with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Planning and Development Haykel Mekki to address the political crisis in the country and its consequences on the economic situation.
Mekki called for an emergency meeting of the National Security Council to review the country’s economic and financial situation.
