Tunisia-President Saied: We will launch an honest and impartial national dialogue

The President of the Republic oversaw today, Thursday, October 21, 2021, a ministerial council at Carthage presidential palace.

In his address, the President of the Republic indicated the launch of an honest and impartial national dialogue in which young people will partake throughout Tunisia.

Stating that this dialogue is completely different from former experiences and will concentrate on several issues, including politics and electoral systems in Tunisia.

The Head of State indicated that this dialogue will take place within an agreed timeframe and through novel mechanisms, modalities and perceptions which lead to the definition of synthesis proposals within the framework of a national congress, emphasising that he does not ‘will not include those who took people’s money or sold their homeland overseas.
