Tunisia- Presidential election held between September and October, announces ISIE

The president of The Independent High Authority for Elections  Farouk Bouaskar revealed yesterday Wednesday February 14 that the presidential elections will take place next September or October, confirming that there will be no amendment to the electoral law and the conditions of candidacy.

In an interview with Mosaïque FM, he underlined that this electoral phase will take place in accordance with the constitutional period during the last three months of the presidential term, which started in October 2019 and ends in October 2024.

Bouasker stated that the Authority will soon enter an organizational procedure mainly linked to the development of the presidential election calendar, which will set the dates precisely.
