Tunisia- Presidential election to take place on September 15

According to the “TAP” Agency, The forthcoming presidential elections will take place on the 15th, September 2019, as declared by the Independent High Authority for the Election (ISIE).

 The door for the presidential nomination will properly open on August 2nd. Moreover, the presidential election campaign is reasonably anticipated to start on September 2, 2019. 

The ISIE‘s official spokesman Hasna Ben Slimane said that the specific period of the presidential election campaign would diminish to 12 days to comply with key deadlines fixed by Article 84 of the Constitution.
