Tunisia-Preventive measures in Ghomrassen

After a meeting held yesterday in the presence of the Mayor of Ghomrassen (Tataouine governorate) and many regional officials, local authorities declared the implementation of preventive measures for the month of Ramadan.

The authorities have decided to scale up campaigns to control open businesses, forbid gatherings, make it mandatory to wear masks and implement the law against offenders.

It was further decided to ban the circulation of vehicles in the city centre by the main road and to restrict itself to the belt road from 3 p.m. until the breaking of the fast.
