Tunisia-Prime Minister Youssef Chahed meets Carter Center election observation mission

Prime Minister Youssef Chahed received an official delegation from the Carter Center election observation mission at the Government Palace in Kasbah.

The constructive discussion revolved on the democratic process in Tunisia, head of the observation mission Tana De Zulueta remarked. It additionally centred on the key part of institutions in the effective regulation of elections.

De Zulueta also told she briefed Youssef Chahed regarding the mission of the centre‘s 90 observers who will carefully observe polling across the country in legislative elections and the second round of the presidential elections.
