ISIE spokesperson Mohammed Tlili Mansri revealed this Thursday that legislative candidates were banned in interior constituencies from employing foreign media for their campaigns unlike candidates of the constituencies abroad.
Mansri explained that this prohibition is obvious by the text of the electoral law, before, even its last modification.
This announcement comes in reaction to the grievances issued by foreign media correspondents in Tunisia who encounter great difficulty in acquiring interviews with candidates under the pretext of this prohibition.
