Tunisia- Protests ignite in Jendouba

The reporter of Tunisie Numérique in the governorate of Jendouba reported this Wednesday, November 18, 2020 that citizens of the Nasr II city in Jendouba witnessed protests near the brick factory in the region.

Demonstrators obstructed roads and burned tires, closing off the only access to the town of Jendouba, given the work associated to the construction site of the interchange in the city center.

Protesters commanded the region’s right to development and its people to employment, calling on authorities to pave roads and provide street lighting.
