Qalb expressed its deep concern concerning the conflicts within the government coalition in connection to the suspicions of conflicts of interests and corruption hovering around the prime minister which the party believes it’s increasing the severity of the situation and multiplying the risks posed.
The party political bureau decided to task its president Nabil Karoui with the mission of “following up on events, taking initiatives, and undertaking discussions with various parties, in order to eradicate existing discords and head toward national political and social resolutions that respond to the expectations of the people, and remove Tunisia from the stifling crisis that it is experiencing. ”
The Political Bureau, which “reviewed the developments of the critical and delicate situations that the nation is going through at the political, economic and social levels in light of the results of an unprecedented global health crisis,” decided to continue in a constant session.
