Tunisia-Qatar ready to finance Kairouan medical city

Qatar is ready to finance Kairouan medical city director general of military health, Mustapha Ferjani told the national radio.

As part of the delegation accompanying the Head of State to Doha, Dr Ferjani stated that an expanded meeting took place on Monday, November 16, 2020, between Tunisian officials and the director of the Qatari Development Fund.

“This meeting was dedicated to addressing the means of implementing the Kairouan medical city project, proposed by the President of the Republic, to reviewing the detailed stages of the project and to preparing for the launch of its implementation”, he added.

He recalled that this is an integrated development project for the center and centre-west, emphasising that the Tunisian delegation has obtained a preliminary agreement from the Qatari authorities, “ready to finance this city”
