Qatar will be inaugurating a visa centre in the first half of 2020, announced The Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment.
The Qatar Visa Centre in Tunisia aims to regulate, enhance and stimulate the recruitment of Tunisian expertise and to further observe work contracts to overcome the phenomenon of fraudulent employment contracts.
The establishment of the centre was mutually agreed at a meeting arranged at the local headquarters of the Ministry of Employment between the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Employment Samira Fendri and the Consul of Qatar in Tunisia Jasem Ahmed Rmihi.
On his part, Major Abdullah Khalifa Al Mohannadi, Director of the Visa Support Services Department at the Qatari Ministry of Interior stated “The rate of services offered at these centers is on the rise and with every passing day the number of visitors is on the rise. Daily, we have 1800 visitors asking different services such as biometric data processing, medical examinations and signing of employment contracts,” .
