Tunisia-Rabta emergencies to take only vital emergencies

The president of the association of young doctors declared that Rabta emergency department will only receive vital cases. The step was taken after unidentified people raided the department and assaulted medical and paramedical executives from October 23 to 24.

Speaking to the TAP, the president association Jad Al Hansheri said It was concluded, in coordination with the resident and internal doctors, in the emergency department at Rabata Hospital in Bab Saadoun, to decrease the work in the department to a minimum, due to the deterioration of the health situation in the department and lack of safety of the medical and paramedical workers, after the recent violent incident that caused a resident doctor in the department to sustain severe bodily harm as well as a nurse by Relative to a patient.
