Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi calls on magistrates to resume to work

Remarking on the three-day prolongation of the magistrates’ strike, House Speaker Rached Ghannouchi called on the judges to resume work, assuring that resolutions will be put in place as soon as possible.

He evoked that in the finance bill for the year 2020, it was suggested to create a fund to support justice and its independence.

Recall that, according to this proposal, certain taxes would be compulsory for litigants, in particular, a “tax on justice”, in the form of a fiscal stamp with a value of 10 dinars.
