Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi meets French writer and political scientist Gilles Kepel

House speaker Rached Ghannouchi welcomed French writer and political scientist, specialist of Islam and the contemporary Arab world Gilles Kepel and French ambassador to Tunisia Olivier Poivre d’Arvor at his office.

The meeting focused on the variety of situations that the Arab region is living in light of the revolutionary and social movement and its repercussions on the relationship between the two sides of the Mediterranean.

Ghannouchi stressed his vision to resolve the issues in the region based on the accord, dialogue and peaceful resolutions that evade the peoples of the region the terrors of wars and internal conflicts and build a new future for them.
