Tunisia: Rached Ghannouchi sentenced to 15 months in prison

Riadh Jerad has just revealed the news on his Facebook page.

Ennahdha leader, Rached Ghannouchi, was convicted Monday evening by the Tunis Court of Appeal to 15 months in prison. A sentence accompanied by 3 years of judicial supervision. And this is the case where he was charged with the treatment of Taghout security personnel.

Jerad added that this ruling considers that the convict was present at the hearing, since Ghannouchi, once again, refused to appear before the court.
