Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi: “We appreciate that every authority performs its role and abide by what is stated in the constitution.”

Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People Rached Ghannouchi said that Tunisia displays that democracy is maturing “although we want stability, for a peaceful transfer of power is a manifestation of civilization.”

Ghannouchi also emphasised that Tunisia necessitates a social and political peace and stability in the face of the huge challenges facing us that require a rallying around the government.

Commenting on improving the relationship between the institutions of government, he stated that everyone works in his own circle and field, and the constitution has specified this and that he appreciates that every authority performs its role and abides by what is stated in the constitution.
