Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi’s former chief of staff referred to Criminal Court

The Indictment Chamber specializing in financial corruption cases at the Tunis Court of Appeal decided, during its session on Wednesday, to refer Faouzi Kamoun, former chief of staff of Rached Ghannouchi, to the Specialized Criminal Court in financial corruption cases at the Tunis Court of First Instance.

The Court also denied his request for release.

It should be recalled that the first investigating judge of the Financial Judicial pole had issued, several months ago, an arrest warrant against Faouzi Kamoun. This warrant followed suspicions of money laundering.
