Following the disclosure of a recording in which the head of the presidential cabinet, Nadia Akkaché, accuses former Tunisian ambassador to the UN, Kais Kabtani, of mismanagement and asked bloggers to publish this information and in “creating a scandal”, the former adviser to the presidency of the Republic, Rachida Neifar, wanted to provide some details.
In a statement made public this Wednesday, November 4, by the newspaper Acharaa Al Magharibi, the politician called the words of her former colleague “unacceptable” and unethical.
Rachida Neifar similarly denied rumours that she was behind the publication of the controversial recording.
She also assured that knowing the President of the Republic, the latter would never have accepted such an overrun to occur, considering that his silence in relation to this affair is surely due to the fact that Saied is not the type of person to react impulsively.
Regarding the veracity of the accusations levelled against Kais Kabtani, Neifar said it would be inappropriate for her to submit her position immediately after leaving her post as an adviser.
