Tunisia-Rafik Abdessalem: From now on we are no longer clowning in Parliament but in Carthage

The presence of Democratic Current MP Samia Abbou at the meeting of the National Security Council chaired on Monday, January 25, 2021 by the President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed, did not leave indifferent the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Rafik Abdessalem.

Angered by Abbou’s invitation, the latter wrote a post via his official page on Monday 2021 in which he displayed his displeasure: “If Samia Abu’s presence in the National Security Council is confirmed, then we have reached the stage of playing with the institutions of the State, from now on we are no longer playing the clown in Parliament but in Carthage … may God protect Tunisia ”, he added.

He also focused on demonstrations in some popular areas of Tunis. According to him, they started before the speech of the president of the republic and this to sow division and anarchy. “The president must choose between chaos and the state,” he wrote.
