The National Land Border Post Office informed that the movement of passengers and vehicles is swift at Ras Jedir crossing border post in Medenine governorate.
In an issued statement, it indicated that 9,910 travellers have entered Tunisian territory, via the border post since it reopened on November 14 and until November 24.
The Office also tells the passage of 3,305 cars and 849 trucks during the same period from Libya. “In addition, 8,901 passengers, 2,641 cars and 456 trucks left Tunisia for Libya from November 14 to 24, through the same border post,” the Office added.
It assures that the movement of passengers and commercial traffic between the two countries, via the Ras Jedir post, will gradually strengthen over the coming period, the TAP reports.
