Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, lecturer at Pasteur Institute and the head of a research team Dr Reem Kafi, lecturer at the Pasteur Institute and the head of a research team, has announced the DiAIZ demonstration, a research initiative sought to explore the associations between diabetes and early Alzheimer’s disease. This project concentrates on the identification and monitoring of biological and genetic markers to facilitate early detection of these conditions. Kafi stressed that the study targets people aged between 55 and 75. As part of the project’s outreach efforts, an awareness day devoted to diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease is planned for Saturday, February 17, at the Pasteur Institute in the capital. The event will begin at 9:00 A.M.
