The spokesman of the Administrative Court (TA) Imed Ghabri affirmed that Afek Tounes appealed the court decision regarding the preliminary results of the referendum on the new constitution, of July 25.
Tree appeals were filed against these results, all of which were dismissed by the Administrative Court. The other two appeals were filed by the I Watch and “Echaab Yourid” party. Only Afek Tounès appealed the court decision.
In this case, the first president of the TA fixes a hearing for the pleadings within a maximum period of three days from the date of introduction of the appeal. He calls the parties within a maximum period of three days before the hearing.
The matter is then taken under advisement. The verdict is pronounced within a maximum period of one week from the date of the hearing, according to the electoral code.
