Tunisia – Release of a group of Russian nationals for lack of suspicion of terrorism

An informed source confirmed to the press that the investigating judge of the judicial counterterrorism section in the capital has decided to release a group of Russian nationals apprehended in an isolated military zone in the Haidra district of Kasserine governorate, who were suspected of joining a terrorist organization and spying for a foreign country.

According to the same source, the decision to release them was made after a series of judicially authorized investigations, requisitions, and technical work, which eliminated any suspicion of terrorism against them.
