Tunisia – Rescue operation in M’saken: Release of kidnapped woman

The M’saken National Guard forces successfully executed an operation resulting in the liberation of a woman in her thirties, reportedly a victim of kidnapping by two brothers and an accomplice. Initial reports suggest that the woman had been abducted.

The victim, using the WhatsApp app, managed to contact authorities and shared her location. In response, security forces swiftly conducted a raid at the specified location, apprehending the suspects.

The Sousse prosecutor’s office promptly initiated a thorough investigation and granted authorization for necessary searches. The M’saken National Guard judicial research brigade will continue the investigations, holding the two brothers and their accomplice in custody pending presentation to the justice system.
