The Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisiens has revealed a set of changes to the departure times of certain trains running on the Tunis/Sousse/Monastir/Mahdia/Sfax/Gabès lines, effective from Saturday, February 3, 2024.
Among the notable changes:
– The train from Tunis to Sousse at 3:15 p.m. will continue to Sfax on Saturdays and public holidays.
– The train schedule from Mahdia to Tunis on weekends and public holidays is modified for a departure at 6:45 a.m. instead of 5:40 a.m.
– The 06:00 train service from Sousse to Tunis on Sundays and public holidays is revoked.
– The train from Gabès to Tunis will depart at 5:00 a.m. on Sundays and public holidays, passing through Sfax and Sousse.
– Removal of the train from Gabès to Sfax at 3:55 p.m. on Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.
– The departure of the train from Gabès to Tunis is brought forward to 10:25 a.m. every day, compared to 11:15 a.m. previously.
– The following trains will stop at Friguia Park station on Sundays and public holidays:
- Departures from Tunis at 6:05 a.m., 9:50 a.m. and 1:05 p.m.
- Returns stopping at Friguia Park at 8:18 a.m. and 2:07 p.m.
