Nabeul Customs units seized, yesterday Thursday, more than 3 kg of gold in a jewellery store located in the region, following information obtained according to which goldsmiths were trading it illegally.
The total quantity was seized since no document indicating its origin was produced.
The seized objects were furthermore subjected to tests to determine their quality and to confirm the authenticity or not of the hallmarks, according to a Tunisian customs source.
