The National Bloc in Parliament declared the election of Ridha Charfeddine as president of the bloc and Imed Ouled Djibril as vice-president, at the behest of a third of its members and in the presence of an absolute majority, according to a statement published by the block bearing the signature of Ridha Charfeddine.
It should be remarked that a previous press release issued by the National Bloc affirmed that what was done by Charfeddine is considered an try to overthrow the leadership of the Bloc and that all measures authorized by the internal regulations including the option to dismiss Ridha Charfeddine from the bloc, will be taken, noting Ridha Charfeddine has been informed via a notary bailiff that the meeting was illegal.
