Tunisia- Rim Abdelmalek : Influenza is virtually non-existent this year

Speaking on the airwaves of private radio,Rabta Hospital infectious disease specialist Rim Abdelmalek announced that influenza is virtually non-existent this year.

So all people who have symptoms similar to those of the flu are in reality cases of “COVID-19”, she revealed, calling, at the same time, these people to carry out the required tests.

She likewise recommended that citizens respect the health protocol and adopt barrier gestures such as wearing a mask, distance and frequent hand washing, which greatly reduce the risk of contamination.

The professor added, in the same sense, that to put an end to this pandemic, 60 or 70% of Tunisians had to be infected with the virus or vaccinated against it.
