Tunisia-Risk of a new wave in May: Hechmi Louzir calls on citizens to be vaccinated against Covid
The director of the Institut Pasteur and president of the vaccination commission Hechmi Louzir called on citizens, in special the elderly and those suffering from chronic illnesses, to obtain the 3rd dose of the vaccine.“The intensification of vaccination operations against the Coronavirus will make it feasible to battle against a new outbreak of cases and avoid a new wave scheduled for the month of May”, he announced, indicating that the vaccination centres will be open in the month of Ramadan.
