The basic education unions at the Sabbela delegation (Sidi Bouzid governorate) announced in a statement their decision to suspend classes in all schools in the region. A suspension that will take place from Tuesday 15 to Sunday 27 September 2020.

This decision was taken according to the unions following the multiplication of positive cases for the coronavirus. “The delay in announcing the results of the analyzes and the silence of the authorities complicate the situation.” Indeed, the unions said that more than 200 tests were carried out in the region but the results were not announced.

The unions also say that the protocol to fight the coronavirus in schools and high schools is not being applied.
