Tunisia – Sadok Hammami new director of press institute

Professor Sadok Hammami was elected today, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, as the new director of the Institute of Press and Information Sciences.

Hammami is a university professor at the Institute and a researcher in media and communication sciences.

He received a master’s degree in 1990, followed by a doctorate in media and communication sciences in 1995 at Stendhal University, Grenoble III, France.

Hammami has taught at the Institute of Press and Information Sciences at the University of Manouba in Tunisia since 1996. He also formerly taught at the Sharjah College of Communication in the United Arab Emirates.

He acted as director of the African Center for Journalist Training from September 2015 to May 2017.

Hammami has published multiple works and supervised various collective studies. He has published several research articles in scientific journals in Tunisia, the Arab world, and international journals.
