Tunisia-Saïd Ferjani to president Kais Saied: You overstepped your jurisdictions and the chaos provoked by your supporters is a threat to national security

Ennahdha MP Saïd Ferjani criticized presidentKaïs Saïed speech during the inauguration of Kebili hospital field this Monday, May 11,  accusing him of inciting chaos and overstepping his jurisdictions.

In a Facebook post, he wrote” Mr President, please stop your constant provocation against the Parliament from the South. Those who have connections with your supporters continue to call for chaos and bloodshed. You have gone beyond the scope of your jurisdictions since the appointments of general managers in security were made by your employees in Carthage. Are you setting up a parallel organization? Your supporters sharpen knives to bring down the Parliament and the government without any reaction from you! Our state, like our national security, is in jeopardy if you continue on this perilous path. You are not the official expert of the Constitution when you, yourself, have breached the locdown and you are uplifting the young people by wanting to set up an unconstitutional anarchist regime in Tunisia.

“Mr. President, you did not take earnest action to establish the Constitutional Court, since its founding will no longer enable you to interpret the Constitution as you wish. The chaos to which your supporters’ appeal constitutes a threat to national security when you have taken an oath to defend the Constitution and you are the first person in charge of the National Security Council, ” he added.
